My clicking finger hurts from giving out all those 10s. Great variety this year.

Just a question. Does the people that have submitted photos vote? I know you can but have you guys? I have not.

I submitted a picture and I voted. Sarge got the 10 for sure! Hell, if there was a 20, he would have got it!

Can I plug my costume on Facebook/MySpace/Random Website...

Yes. You can shamelessly plug your costume wherever you like. The rating period is open until November 7, 2010 at 11:59pm Pacific Time. You have 1 week to get as much rating love as you can.

Let her rip!

I made some changes to the contest gallery pages to make it more obvious to our visiting guests on how to actually rate photos.

1. There's a link to "Rate this Costume" on the top that will jump to the bottom of the comments to the rate/comment box.

2. If they aren't logged in - there's a message to tell those folks they need to register to rate your costume.

This will make it easier for those of you who are sharing your costume with the rest of the world.

Ok, I need to say this. It has been bugging me for a few days now. I hope my fears are unfounded, and I want everyone to know that I'm doing this to make sure we have a fair contest.

I'm calling shenanigans on Snake_Eyes. On a recent trip to Kmart, I saw something that I thought I had seen before, and now I know where. I believe that his replica is not an airsoft gun, but an electronic toy from Kmart. Snake, please understand that I'm not doing this to hurt you. I feel that a contest such as this needs to be held to the rules. Can you please somehow prove to us that you used an airsoft gun?

Here is a picture of an unpainted gun that looks exactly like his:

ouch, yea snake, you did miss that rule no matter how cool your costume is.
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

I did not miss a rule and I will prove my case. No biggie, hunting for the receipt and while I dont have a video camera, Ill take pictures of the hop-up. Does that work for you?

I was going to say, he addressed this in the costume picture thread:

Quote from Snake Eyes:
Just so everyone knows, that is a Big 5 special springer airsoft gun lol. I wasnt about to paint up a nice one although I might for a certain game coming up!

in looking closely at the replica( or non replica) the magwell, magazine, and the flashlight are both exactly the same. everything in the picture when scaled at the same size is spot on for the toy that jester posted including the upper and lower recivers which have no seams visable. all of the screws match up also. as does the stock.

i hate to say it, but its not a airsoft replica, and unless you can prove that it fires BBs then it stands that the toy is a toy.

great costume brother, you just missed a important detail.

good thing you still have a working entry in your "snake eyes " costume.

Chaci, I saw that. But the resemblance is uncanny, and with having another submission not using a real airsoft gun (Sasquatch as the Joker), I wanted to make sure things were legitimate.
