Right now I have the KWA G36c handguard which is bigger than the default, and I'm using a 1400 mAh 9.6, will it fit in this one?

It's a mini-battery, right? It is the size that TM intended to be used with their G36cs, so yes, it should fit.

All batteries that work with the normal handguard work, and stick batteries do as well with slight modification (but who owns stick batteries anyway?).

I have also found that the G36/G36E handguards are slightly narrower than the G36C length ones, so be careful with the wiring (managed to sever one of my good batteries because of it :( )...
