I came across a full metal M4 for a good price

here is the description of this marker, I cut and paste off a web site that I found that sells this gun.

Any tips or advice on this gun, what is the new purchase value of this gun?

This gun should cost about $240-$290. There are better guns for that type, unless you absolutely have to have the quick-swap upper receiver.

They are great guns, I prefer mine over any other M4 I've owned, CA included. I have no spring upgrades in mine, the stock upper shoots 353 with my Madbull tight bore and bucking, and I have a CQB upper that does 290 with the same barrel. They kinda have a bad rep for desrtoying pistons pretty often, (only happened to me once out of 5 years of owning one) but I think that the fast upper GB change makes up for that at least a little. Another downside is the stocks are not compatible with non ICS M4s or vice-versa.
I think I paid 280 for mine (again 5 years ago) off ASGI

ICS M4's are probably tied for my favorite brand of M4 with G&P. G&P has better externals and internals but the split ICS GB is just so useful.

I own several, they are compatable to a degree, if your up to a little modificating..

My downsides of ICS

Non-compatible stocks and body accessories.
6mm Bushings only. No 7mm/8mm Bearings.
