Withholding sexy time is a lose-lose for you too.

There's no way to make it totally 100% fair. You'll always have the people with a million friends that have no life, the people that create bot accounts to effect voting, and the people that just vote everyone else down because of teh hate.

As you all know my costume was called into question on the gun used. Sadly after taking it apart it was indeed not a working replica. I know I had said it was a Big 5 springer but that was used as a generalization. It was actually purchased from Bi-Mart. It was behind the gun counter and marketed as an airsoft gun. Under the carrying handle it has a pull tab just like anyother would and it also has a metal barrel. Because of this I didnt question the legitimacy of the gun and just painted it up. Why buy a $50 gun if its just going to be used in a costume right. Well after I found time after work and school I contacted Matt immediately and told him what had happened. He said he'd talk it over with the judges and determine and come up with a decision. Today I got the news I was disqualified. I asked if it could be put up to a poll within the community to determine to keep it or not in the contest but it was determined to probably cause a lot of unneeded drama. I definitely can see their point. The worst part though is that I actually have a KWC spring pistol that was painted, just didnt bring it into the store since it looks too realistic. Such is life.

So I just wanted you to hear it from me instead of the rumor mills that happen. Maybe next year you can see Sarge again with possibly a rocket launcher or something. I also have the Snake Eyes costume so please feel free to vote for it.
