KWA 1st gen bucking question

Gun was jamming today at apocaliptica. Took it apart and the back of the bucking looks like some scissors were taken to it and cut off almost a perfect circle. Im talking about the end that goes up against the air nozzle. My question is will the 1st gen guns take a standard bucking? From what iv heard you have to have KWA buckings hopups and barrels for the second gen. Is the same true for 1st?

KWA's take other buckings but they're a tight fit. I couldn't get a Prometheus soft in my Gen1 KWA M4, but yours might be older and not compatible for some reason, I'm not too sure. Why not just get a 2gx bucking?

just wondering. its my friends gun so instead of making him go buy a new bucking im looking for a free fix

You can't really fix a torn bucking.

you can use any buckings in KWA. There is nothing proprietary about their barrels or hop up systems (other than hop up is a two piece)

I thought that KWA's don't take TM/JG style hopups even if they're two piece?
