Yep. Everyone learns from their mistakes, but I bet you have some great ones you'd never give up. =p[/quote]

I don't know if there's photos of what I wore to my first Airsoft game. I bought these bleeding horrible OD pants and they got all torn up from 1 use. They weren't even BDUs, they were some strange rain pants or something, made a swishing noise every time I took a step. The surplus store was all out of woodland in my size. The old guy who works at the surplus store told me "NO, we don't have other sizes, the army is small!" Really? The entire army wears small and medium BDUs? It's ironic that today, BDUs all run bigger than they used to. I guess the Army aint so small anymore.

Later I learned about the awesomeness that is ANDY & BAX. Never went back to that lame a$$ surplus store in Salem again.

Or deer shit... Hard to know for sure...

{/end ignore_obvious_inuendo}

Camo and gear... Man... sometimes you find amazing shit in there, other times you wonder when they became a 'sporting goods outlet'.

That old guy that used to work in there all the time was a tool if you were a 'big' guy too. They had MREs in there once, and I asked about price and he gave me all sorts of shit about 'probably needing to buy 3 to fill me up'. Even if it was true, it hurt mah feelingzez. *sniffle*
With all the pretty flowers and twigs in your ghillie.. perhaps you should take up gardening?

Alright, here it goes.
Image
List of mistakes:
1. G36c
2. Mk. 23 with one leaky mag when I could have had a good secondary that I'd actually use.
3. The facepaint.
4. UTG Tac-Vest, anyone? Kept my mags non-indexed and on the wrong side of my body, by my current standards.
5. 2 high caps
6. - 1 inch, + 45 pounds. I look even worse than I do.
7. Awesome green gas carry system with camouflage bandanna and duct tape.
8. Hunting gloves with rubber grips that held on to dirt and nothing else.
9. Ratty old hoodie with the hood chopped off under my woodland.
10. LEFTOVER WEEABOO PONYTAIL, MY GREATEST MISTAKE, AIRSOFT OR OTHERWISE.

Posting in the wrong thread isn't your biggest mistake Kendo. I think it was trying to hug Gunny. ;)

Nah, I don't regret it. But there's no picture of it the second time.
