wait...wouldn't the matrix magnum be less reliable because the pinion gear is screwed on rather than being pressure fitted?

No. And don't even consider Systema's new motor. Until they realize they use a design that's obviously flawed and well known to cause problems, and use more powerful magnets with a better wind than a simple Element high torque, nobody should buy their motors. I'm probably going to sell my Systema magnum soon and just buy an Element HT myself.
