Prometheus didn't have anything to do with those, it's just Evike's annoying way of showing the brand... It's just "Prometheus type" which doesn't really mean anything for the quality. I have one of the matrix tightbores and it's decent but I'd rather get one of the better ones out there.

Buy one of the PCT barrels. They are Dees barrels with a different name. Run about 1k rounds through it and its golden.

Dwayne or I personally hone the bore and straighten every barrel by hand before it gets shipped out.

You get what you pay for. One of these is on my Xmas list. I want to compare it side by side to my barrel from Bill.

Oh, and they're less than 70 for the length I want.

For a 625 or a 700, everything 509 and under is less than $65. You can thank the President and all the fear mongering about ammo for raising the price of brass.
