intel airsoft game

I am not sure if this is a game out in the circuit or not but i thought this was a good idea. I called it Intel or CIA not sure which sounds better yet, but basicly you have a Intel team or CIA with like a breifcase or case of some sort. you put some papers in it. and have 2 opposing teams like terriorist/merc and a foreign mil team both teams are trying to get the intel so the will be fighting each other and the intel team to get the package. in a CQC game we made it where you had to just get the intel back to your starting point. and in a large out door game you had directions or google map photo of the area you were playing at where the other half Intel or a hidden mil team basicly was that you would then have to take out. we always had something small as a prize for the winners like cheap speed loaders or a bag of bio bb but you dont have to. we have played this a few times since i thought of it and have had teams make pacts and deals to take out one another then try to back stab eachother to win. example ( merc team makes deal with foreign team to help get rid of intel team then when the intel team took a hard hit and could be beaten easy they shot the other team and also had the merc or foreign team team up with the intel team or so they thought till the intel team blew em to kingdom come.) as for the hidden intel team if you were playing out doors could basicly snipe or set up claymores or what have you to help the other intel team or protect themselves. Well tell me what you guys think about the game i made up. im curious to know if this is already out there or if it sounds good if its a new kinda game.

Way back in the day, we used to run a hostage negotiation scenario. One team had a giant plastic jewel. The other team had a 30 pound, sand-filled training baby.

The goal was to swap the one you had for the one the other team had.

At the end of the round, the baby was worth one point, and the jewel was worth one point.

We must've run that one 50 times easy. And you know how many times it went down smooth? Never. Sometimes there would be one or more double agents within the ranks. Usually, one team would decide that they had a positional advantage and open up on the other team. The few times it didn't devolve into a firefight within the first minute or so, someone would decide that they, personally, had a vested interest in collecting the objects for themselves and either slaughter their teammates or just snatch both items and haul a$$.

It never worked out, but it was always fun.

I miss hostage negotiations at strikezone, everyone ended up dead most of the time; but it was still fun.

Just as a tip, it would help everyone read your post if you broke it down into smaller paragraphs or independent variables/thoughts. Breaking it down and spelling everything out also helps you clarify what you're thinking.

Example:

[opening paragraph stating the purpose of the thread, which put simply, is an idea for a game, with a smaller purpose being the question of if it's been done before, by whom, where, and if it's had any successes to build upon your idea]

[short game premise, such as "GAME IDEA: INTEL RECOVERY" followed by details such as "Game played between two opposing mercenary/foreign military and a third sneaky squirrel team that have a briefcase prop"]

[Info on Teams 1 and 2 and their mission]

[Info on CIA team, their mission and the details of the briefcase game mechanics]

[Paragraph on your execution of this game style with its' successes and failures, and possibly what you'd like help on improving or warnings to others wishing to try it out]

I'm going to add silly punctuation, since you added none.

I want to play a hostage game once I never. Have I also heard of a game called president? I want to try that too.

Now I'll respond to what I think you are asking me.

Once you never play a hostage game, you're just like everyone else. Have you heard of a game called president? Do they tour with A Tribe Called Quest? I'd like to try that as well. I'm sure the concert would be kickass.

We kinda did a similar version of that game during a skirm I held at Farm. The only issue that I could see is that It was boring as hell for the first hour until someone found the intel.

We also did a scavenger hunt, which would have worked out great had the other team followed the damn map and intersected with us, but they didn't and we won in about 20 minutes.

This type of game I think would be better for CQC.

Also, make sure you dont type like your texting on AP. These guys on here have nothing better to do then to rip on people that dont speeelll corrrecctttli and dnot ptu eth thrig puntiouation in when needed. Not sure why but you get used to it.

Some people are harder about it than others, but the reason people dislike poorly written posts is because it is annoying to read, and after being on the forums for a few years, you lose your ability to deal with poorly written posts.

And whenever someone posts looking to appear professional (ie hosting a game, bringing up an idea to the group) it doesn't get taken seriously if it has spelling errors.

I don't know how many times I've seen spelling errors on game posts and the grammar of a four year old and stopped looking at the game thread or planning on going.

If you can't put in the time to make it correct, how should I respect the idea or game you're putting forward to the group?

Sorry about all that. I am using a Iphone with a cracked screen and it's hard to get it to spell right when half the buttons don't work and evry once and a while the spell correct bubble is where the crack is so i can't correct.

The "President game" is a game of 2 teams 1 is the President and his body gaurds the other is the opposing force.
the "President" only gets a pistol but can not use it until all the body guards are dead.
note: there is no respawn that way the game goes quicker
if the other team or the body guards kill the "President" the opposing team gets a point. once the "president" is dead you switch roles who ever has the most points at the end wins.
i hope that helps clear thing up.
