PEQ Box Big Enough?

Postby Stanson » Fri Nov 19, 2010 2:38 am

I was wondering if something like this peq-15 (King Arms PEQ-15 Battery Box) could house a small type 9.6 1400mah nimh nunchuck battery. I'm just not sure if it could even house a nimh battery at all because they're just so small, but if they can is there a speacial shape of battery that I need, or will they just fit lipos? Thanks :D

There are peq battery's but i believe they are for the larger peq boxes. You could get one of these

I believe PEQ-15 boxes are made for Lipo batteries not Nimh, there are a lot of small batteries that might fit but it's at your own risk if you order them.

If using a Peq-15 is that important you can contact http://www.eliteairsoftbatteries.com/ and see if they can find or make you one to fit.

Otherwise getting a different Peq would be best if you want to use Nimh.

The PEQ-15 will only hold a LiPo.

I had a TM PEQ-16 with an extension that would hold an 8.4V mini, but the only PEQ's I've seen that gold 9.6V are quite large.
Well, you can start a new topic and get flamed for not searching, or you can search and get flamed for necro-posting. It's really your choice...

Thanks for the help! :) I think I'm goin to run that Tokyo Marui PEQ-16, I've learned that it will fit a PEQ2 style 9.6.

Keep in mind the only reason the TM MEQ16 can take that battery is with the extender, which makes your small PEQ16 the size of a PEQ2 (and amazingly stupid looking).

Thanks, but I actually don't think it looks bad -- At least better than the PEQ2 which I just can't stand the look of.
