How are the gears on g&g combat machines?

Postby CCCman » Mon Dec 20, 2010 10:22 am

How are the gears on the g&g combat machine m4 non-blowback? Should they hold up well against a matrix m110 spring and a matrix magnum motor?

I have a G&G GR-16 Raider that has the same internals, except it has blowback. The gears held up to my madbull m110 spring with the stock motor; I couldn't tell you how it would hold up to an aftermarket motor first hand, but G&G makes quality internals, so it should be fine as long as the shim is right in your gearbox.

I've taken a quick peek at them in my spare time and they seem pretty good. I'm not a serious technical guru or airsmith, but it looks like they would hold up to the average upgrading someone would do. I probably wouldn't throw in a super duper high-speed motor and an 11.1 lipo right out of the box, or some crazy torque up set and an M140, but otherwise it looks like they'll be fine.

They're decent. They could probably take an M120 but on an M130, I'm not too sure how much they'd last depending on ROF.

I've seen awesome things out of the G&G Combat Machines and Raiders. They should hold up fine on M110 springs.
