I'm sorry, you're saying that KWA is perfect and that they never release a single defective model? Alright, just one more time, I'm going to cover my issues with KWA;

1. It's overly hyped up by ASGI.
2. The externals are ugly and plain, the KWA trades look silly and are in bad taste.
3. Magazine compatibility is hit and miss, I've put Dboys, MAG, TM, KA, and G&P mags in CAs, and they've all fed great.
4. Internals are good, the shell is nice, but they're nothing special, therefore I'd say it's over priced.
5. Occasionally hit and miss external quality; if any of you lot remember Jebus!, his KWA's receiver cracked nearly in half when he took a dive with it, although it was a rough landing, I don't think that a little hit would crack a G&P or CA's body in half.
6. Again, over rated by ASGI, every damn airsoft gun on the market is lipo ready. You can put a lipo to a one of those dinky Wal-Mart or Big 5 guns, and even those will last a few thousand rounds. Jester put an 11.1v in his Dboys, and, as far as I know it has stock internals, and it shot perfectly.
7. KWA fanboys.

That being said, you can spend a ton of money on a KWA, or you could go with a brand many airsofters live by, Classic Army or G&P. Every single time I have handled either of these brands they have preformed above and beyond what I'd expected, their externals have been gorgeous, or at least appealing. Plus CA has ArmaLite trades. ; )

I think it's truly personal preference. KWA was truly one of the first to brand theirselves around the "Lipo ready" concept. I've loved my KWA's now for over 2 years, and I've had serious and several issues. I don't consider any KWA to be over-hyped. The externals I believe are well-crafted and are quite well constructed, the Internals are very well put, even though I myself have had issues with the internals. Every gun can be hit and miss, I've endured Dboys that blow up on me within weeks, and ones that have lasted for years. It happens with every gun, the guns aren't always perfect, every brand will have lemons and issues, it's just a matter of when and where it is going to occur.

Otherwise, I very much disagree with Carpet, being an owner of a KWA SR10 and CQB models I have had issues with my SR10. In September my Piston stripped, Gears were Stipped aswell as my bucking. I myself didn't use a Li-Po, I use a 9.6v and yes, this all happened with a 9.6v. What really designates KWA as an outstanding company (to me personally) is the quality of their customer service, they are always there to help anyone in need of help with their weaponry, and they do a fabulous job.

Another option to throw out there:

Recent VFC's have also been pretty decent internally, and I know externally they trump nearly every AEG manufacturer out there for their AR series (SR-15/16, "Avalon", etc.)

I meant to say "no" instead of "now" in the final point. Changes the entire tune of things. ;)
