Removing VFC delta ring assembly

I have a VFC M4 E-Series and I intend to install the vfc urx style rail. Ok, so of course I removed the outer barrel and gas tube, but is there anything else I need to take off of the gun before I try to twist off the delta ring or is it just really tight on there? Thanks for any help! :D

Ok, I seriously need help now I cannot figure out for the life of me how the heck this thing is supposed to come off. Can someone please just give me the steps to remove this delta ring because I've just been twisting and twisting and it will not budge. Please and Thank you.
