Trijicon Acogs

Postby Python » Sun Jan 02, 2011 10:52 pm

I am in the process of becoming a retailer of trijicon acogs ans many other high end brand named optics. Would anyone be interested in purchasing any sights? Not shure if the airsoft industry is right for a optic thats worth more than the gun, but it shure would turn some heads aha

Let me know what you think thanks

The grammar's fine. And this could appeal to those who fire real-steel as well, so cool yer jets.

Sir, I want a Specter DR but cannot afford the $1800-2300 price tag on them.

ACOGs I was never a fan of, but that's personal preference.

His spelling isn't. Would that be considered a grammatical error? Either way, I think that is what Patrick was getting at.

I would be interested in it if I could afford that, but likewise, I would be interested in a Bughatti Veyron if I could afford that too.

I think this is the wrong audience to be asking this question.

How much are you asking for ACOG's? I have a friend who is looking to put one on his AR...

Your kidding right? the proverbial pot calling the kettle black!

Python, do you have a web site? I'm not so much interested in these products for airsoft, but for another purpose. ( I own several Trijicon products, they are awesome / high quality!)

This.

Plus, I'd rather buy from a existing retailer.

I'd bet a lot of the members here have AEG's with over $1000 invested...

There are a few grammatical errors, more than just spelling. That and the fact there is no website or contact information makes it seem a little sketch. Yes there are some people who probably have $1000+ AEG's but I doubt any of them will want to spend another 1k+ for an ACOG. Although I totally support small business I just think he could've done a lot better at introducing his business.

Ha, my first rifle was a stock Marui M4 that I got for about $250...first optics I bought for it was an Eotech for over $300...so what do I know
That being said, since he is becoming a dealer and is offering close to dealer prices, I am intrested about how much his ACOGS will be.

I have had both real and clone ACOG's as well as real and clone Aimpoints on my AEG's.

In my experience, a clone ACOG serves just fine for airsoft. The extra cash for the real McCoy get's you a nicer piece of hardware, and extra Gucci points in the staging area, but won't really perform $1000 better on the airsoft field.

I sold my ACOG and used the money on a clone ACOG and two Aimpoint ML2's with RS mounts. Clone ACOG is good enough, and the Aimpoints are enough better than their clones to justify the extra cost.

Sadly, I probably lost Gucci points in the process.

I only recommend real ACOG's to airsofters who either want to show off, or swap optics between their replicas and their RS rifles.
