Need help with loadouts for my team

Postby Stray » Tue Jan 04, 2011 2:55 pm

I have a little dilemma, my team has decided to go uniform on everything so noone now matches. They want to base it off my kit. But use desert marpat or AOR2 if we could ever find it. We need independent load out for each members task. Here is a list of what weapons we have and members according to task. We have
3 rifle men ( 1 DMR m14, 2 g36c)
1 sniper ( l96 or Barrett rifle)
1 LMG ( mk43 mod 0, m60 vn)
1 grenadier (m4 with m203, revolver grenade launcher)
1 smg (mp7,p90,mp5) (she wants to be a medic.)

The want to do a marine spec ops load out or seal. I really got no clue I'm a dmr so it's easy to throw a quick mix match kit together. But a real sim is new to me and I don't wanna let em down. Plz help me

If you're going for a MARSOC/MFR/Marine "Spec Ops" loadout, you should check out this topic:
http://www.airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=14676

Marines don't usually run completely different loadouts just because they use a specific weapon.

The sniper, the support gunner, and the medic (Marines call them Corpsman) should all carry a lighter loadout than the others.

Also, the grenadier should carry more M203 pouches than the others.

Thanks to the MOLLE system, this can all be achieved easily.

If you want to stick to a Real SIM (Impression based) the medic should be using a AR platform.

Not that it really matters in Airsoft, i am just saying.

Sounds like a fun project you have going on with you're friends, enjoy!

Are you planning on using AOR1 or AOR2? AOR2 or NWU Type3 is very difficult to find right now. Hopefully soon this will change.

Does your team plan on using helmets, ballcaps, boonies or all of the above?

The good thing about vests is you can use several different styles. Each member should pick a vest they like and fits there use. Just try to all use the same colors. Here are several suggestions of vest. (Pantac and/or FLYYE make replicas of these aswell)

Plate Carriers
EI Eagle Plate Carrier w/ Cummerbund (EPC/C)- Also called the Molle Style Plate Carrier
EI Scalable Plate Carrier (SPC)-
AI Maritime Ballistic Survivor System (MBSS)-
DBT Fast Attack Plate Carrier w/ Cummerbund (FAPC/C)-
LBT 6094a

Chest Riggs
LBT M1961a-
LBT 1195j
EI Rhodesian Reconnaissance Vest (RRV)-

Marine load outs are easy to build. All gear is Coyote brown which is adaptable to any environment. The Corps as a whole have for the most part changed over to the Eagle plate carrier style armor system. The MARPAT uniforms, desert or woodland are becoming easier to find as well. Seals are now using the same uniforms for the most part so the BDUs are even the same. The trick is to decide what environment you are playing in most of the time. Urban/MOUT or woodland.

A correct MARSOC loadout becomes a little more difficult. They run a teared gear system. If their mission dictates it they will put on a lvl 3A soft armor vest on under their plate carrier to give them added protection from frag and small arms in addition to boosting the protection levels of their plates. Helmets are also a little different from the rest as well. I would how ever recommend a different route from the common SF role and try something different.

I would stick with the Eagle Catch. Ran the DBT and didn't last all that long. I would recommend the MSA SOHPC as well but they are friggin expensive and the Eagle is about the same.

@bulldog I figued the m4 and g36 loadlouts would be the same but he m14 mags seem to be different. And. As for my support gunner I have no idea what he should carry. I figured a 3 day pack hydration system to start with. With a warlord chest rig maybe? I didn't know they were call corpsman :( I didn't mean to disrespect. Do MFR carry open top mag pouches? Thank you for that link that suckers pics will really help us get this built right. @cap n pickels she can't get the mags in as fast with the m16 as she can with the SMG and she is 5 foot even it's kinda funny seeing her try to lug around a full sized rifle. Unless they make like a smaller version of my m4. With the 1 point on it the barrel goes past her knee. With the sniper would a high speed low drag be best?

Well I was thinking of the ciras plate carrier perhaps? The seem to be the style my freind deployed with. And I've found then in every size which helps with us shorter players. Yeah we found that out about he AOR uniforms. We have the urban digital already that was our first uniform but most events don't allow it. I really haven't had the much fun looking up stuff for these kits. As I have with looking up new guns to buy lol. I know the reacon load out is over played but not sure what else to do. We want to keep the marine syle.

Stray, I know there are some online stores and walk-ins stores that sell pouches for pox magazines for your automatic rifleman. As for a short version of the M4, the M733 Commando is significantly shorter than the M4 or M16 weapon systems. I can imagine it would fit her as well as your M4 fits you, if she even wants to buy a new gun. As for mag pouches for your M14, yes, M14 mags are much wider than M16 and G36 mags. I don't think you should have any trouble finding them, though.

I was afraid of that my main rifle is my CA EBR. We are using all my guns for my team. That commado seems like the best bet never seen one though. What walk in stores sell box mag pouches?

I'm glad the rest of you got past this sentence. I got here and said, "Oh, they don't want to match, anyway."

For mag pouches, I'd stay away from buckle-style pouches. They're too much of a pain to use quickly on the field, IMHO.

For other pouches, Eagle Industries makes several pouches with buckles, most notable being the MBITR (radio) pouch, Canteen pouch (used for other stuff/utility), Charge Pouch (big ole thing mainly seen on people's back), M60 Pouch, and then they have velcro-flap pouches, such as the SAW pouches, and then zipper pouches, such as Medic pouch, and general utility pouches.
