What can I upgrade to increase range on a KWA G36c?

Make sure your hop up is functioning correctly (EDIT: ONLY IF PROBLEM PERSISTS). Then get a TBB and new hop up nub/gum. I personally would recommend Madbull; their barrels and Hop-up equipment have always worked great for me. If you are so inclined, you could test out different air nozzles and cylinders to get the correct match with your barrel. If your cylinder draws too much air, then it won't come out of the barrel fast enough. This will cause pressure to build up and slow down your piston. If the nozzle is too tight, then you run the risk of encountering the same problem.

Range depends on FPS, so getting a M120 spring will help that and/or improving your compression. Your Hop up also helps.

However, this won't help accuracy, Switchback pretty much has it covered on that. Just back sure your using good BB's and your hop up is adjusted for optimum range

I have a gen. 1 and must say, drop in a Madbull 6.03 paired with a Madbull blue. (Don't forget to add the H-nub!) And you will see some impressive results, I don't know exact accuracy but my G36 overrules almost every other gun in CQB. I'm also firing right at 330fps so I don't make the internals work to hard, and ROF is slightly increased.

Tight bore barrel (preferably a stainless steel or brass one, aluminum ones are prone to bending/damage).

Make sure your hop-up has been installed correctly, if you are doubtful at all, re-install it. These days it still takes me several attempts to perfectly install G36 type hop ups because the barrel and bucking often fail to properly seat in the chamber.

Check all your air-seals around your cylinder, cylinder head, piston head and air nozzle. Also, if the end of your air nozzle isn't an open circle you may want to replace it.

@ Wonderbread: FPS doesn't matter. My Echo 1 MP5 shoots farther at 350FPS than my friends CO2 pistol even though that has a high flow valve that pushes it out at about 475FPS.

Of course any stock air nozzle is going to have an open, circular hole at the end... Unless (rumor is) it is a TM, or a JP Famas. And those have an X shape as opposed to a circular hole.

Compression does effect your accruacy quite a bit though, unless the air nozzle doesn't engage the hop-up bucking properly then you shouldn't worry about it too much. Most accuracy revolves around hop-up bucking, nub, and BB weight and quality.

I seem to recall reading a GREAT article on AP a few months ago about finding the perfect match of a cylinder's air draw as it relates to barrel length; too much intake vs. not enough. If anyone can find it, this might greatly help our G36c wielding comrade. (1984 reference).

To the OP: That thread will probably help you maximize your range more than most of the other suggestions here.

FPS doesn't equal range. If you still believe that you obviously haven't compared a stock TM to anything else.

FPS is good for pushing a heavier BB which will translate to more accuracy because the bb has more mass so it is less effected by wind.

The key to good range and accuracy is quality hop up parts and barrel. If you want range then put in a good hop up like a KWA 2G. I have installed those on two rifles and they work exceptionally.

In all honesty though, Braddock has given the best advice. I have a loaner mp5k that gets 135' accurately (yes I measured exactly 135') and it has picked up quiet a few kills outdoors because the operator knew what he/she was doing.
