So, this is the gun we should get? It seems pretty good.

You and your friend are... splitting a gun? Sounds like a terrible idea, you'd have to deal with a custody battle, visitation rights, all that shit. Plus, what if you both, you know, went to the same game?

I recommend this for "close up attacks." It's perfect CQB length.

Actually, we are both buying out own guns.

We just are trying to find ones that we would like. I am thinking about getting the G&P M18, but I am not sure about my friend.

I can't seem to find the site of the M18. Once I find it, I will post it.

Like the bad dude on the ferry in Deja Vu.

Unfortunately, me and my friend are not looking for a gas gun.

We are looking more for electric, since they are easier to work with, in my opinion.

Unless you're Catch, than I don't even want to get into a fight over your JG 416.

Actually aside from a better external quality, with a little tuning, a JG can perform phenomenally. If you were to say, leave the gearbox stock and never do anything with it by all means fork out the cash. However if you have basic tech skills, a good reshimming/regreasing/AoE correction will put it up to par with the G&P. In fact I'd steer clear of G&P gear setups. The bearings have been known to fail and of late, their gears seem to have some quality control issues and can be prone to break at the axle.

I might as well then get the G&P M18.

What types of tuning would be needed for the JG to work "better" than the G&P?

Mack D, the money and time you need to invest is well beyond most people, and the G&P will help you save in both departments. I have upgraded many JG's, and they are not as good as a stock G&P.

I have heard.

I will just stick with G&P's. I am probably going to get the M18 anyways, since it is a really good gun, and it is a good price for what it is in the first place.

I agree. If youre not into tuning and customizing then the G&P would be the better route for you
