Madbull 3 in 1 Hopup Unit questions

Postby -Shifty- » Thu Feb 17, 2011 7:37 pm

I have an Echo 1 M8A4 (now converted into an MK18), and I'm looking to see if anyone knows the compatibility of the Madbull 3-1 hopup with Echo 1 guns.

This is the stock hopup unit that is currently in my gun.

It sucks a$$ and I'm in need of a change. So if anyone has an helpful advice for me, that be great!

I had an Echo-1 M4, and the Echo-1 One peice hop-up didn't fit in it... What a suprise, eh?

(Here is the one I am talking about,) http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=4127

I figure that the issue with the Madbull might be the same.

What part didn't fit? The fins just needed a bit of filing to fit into mine nothing major.

I had this same problem with my AGM M4.

If you don't have a dremmel I wouldn't buy it, because if it doesn't fit you are screwed. Unless you're crafty with sandpaper. ;)

I had no issues fitting it into my G&P M16 and A&K SR-25.

The new modify hop-up unit that AONW has looks pretty legit. And since its the same design (just improved) as the current ones, you shouldn't have any fitting issues.

The madbull is a one piece. Your E1 takes a 2-piece, so it won't work.

Whats "wrong" with your existing hopup? I bet you $.02 that if you replaced the rubber with an aftermarket soft rubber that your problem would be solved.

this was indeed my problem for a while. I thought the hop up wasn't doing it's job but little did i know i was missing a nub and was still using my stock bucking. A madbull blue bucking will most likely fix all your problems.

The bb's just arc really bad. I replaced the barrel and the bucking, which helped the range and the accuracy a bit, but the arching is pissing me off.

Check your nub and how your barrel is aligned with your hop up.
