I figured that after a few months of stalking this board i would post an intro.

Name is Isaac, currently active duty USMC 0311, stationed in Bangor, WA. I'm originally from Corvallis, OR.
I've made it out to a few AP games; Grid 18 back in the day, actor in CQC 4 or 5, i can't remember which, and a few jumbled others in my mis-spent youth. The atmosphere on the boards and in the field has always been great.

I'll offer what i can to the boards here and look forward to making it out to games in the future.

On an unrelated note, i know this isn't a Marine forum, but airsoft is milsim (usually) and some of the younger guys here might be thinking of enlisting. If anyone here was thinking about joining the corps or another branch and looking for an unbiased opinion, send me a PM. While i love my job, there are a few things you should know, and a few realities you should stumble over before you sign a contract with images of slaying dragons in dress blues dancing feverishly in your head.

I was pissed when my recruiter told me slaying dragons was for the utility or service uniforms only.

@Dunworth; Thanks man, im looking forward to it. Y'know since we can't wear our cammies off base i usually slay all my dragons and various other mythological creatures in civies. Although i did run into a chimera in the airport while i was in my service alphas.
