Warhawk claims you should clean your barrel every game. I'm going to say no to that one.

I use a custom made 6.02mm barrel in my bolt action rifle. I have not cleaned it since last October. Why? Because that would throw off the established accuracy. Every time you clean your barrel, you change the inner profile of it (by removing things, or damaging if you suck at life). If you are using high quality ammo and being careful not to slam your muzzle into the dirt, you shouldn't have to clean your barrel every game.

yeah but to be fair andrew you aren't putting nearly as many rounds out of a bolt as an AEG would. still, i usually only clean my barrels every couple months or so.

also, don't install the mad bull nub. they are huge, and suck. leave your stock one in for now.

+1
I had the Madbull nub in my gun, and with the hop up turned all the way down, the nub was still hitting the bb causing it to shoot up and to the right. Andrew can attest to this. And also under Andrew's suggestions, I was able to make a new nub out of the inner part of a Bic pen.

Yeah, with the barrel cleaning.. We'll see. I doubt I'll be cleaning it every game, but I definitely should clean it more than I do currently [a whopping 0 times a year].

Will do, on the nub. We're actually going to try and call ASGI when their service hours open tomorrow to see if we can add an Echo 1 H-nub to the order.

Just to clarify for myself.. Beran: You say that I can use my stock nub on the Madbull Blue Bucking?

Andrew can attest to this. And also under Andrew's suggestions, I was able to make a new nub out of the inner part of a Bic pen.

Andrew seems to be quite the knowledgeable chap. :learn:

andrew = jester

yeah, any nub should work. the mad bull one is just too big. their buckings are great but they skimped on the nubs that come with them.

Boy, Airsoft GI sure takes their time... Placed the order Sunday, got several updates on Monday up until "package processing". Hasn't changed since. -.-
