Help with AEG

Postby Hutch » Sat Jun 25, 2011 6:37 pm

Does anyone know of an M4 type AEG that comes with the following features for a decent price? (about $200)
-bolt catch
-rails
-mini-type battery
-color black
I'm looking to buying one, cuz my gr-16 just getting old...
I've been looking around, but want to know if someone has one that works good. by the way, I would prefer something that was sold my AirsoftOutletNW, because they have a local store near me, and I don't like shipping that much.

I know plenty of replicas that come with those features, but not at that price range.

The only low end brand that I can remember off the top of my head with a bolt catch would be dboys, and even then, only some dboys M4's. I'd recommend a Deepfire silver series if possible instead.

Try looking at the airsoftgi G4 series. The only thing your missing is a battery. They are probably the best for your price range. However, those arent sold at AONW...

Those are just G&G sportlines dolled up with some tinsel. If you read his post, he already has a GR-16 (same thing) and is bored of it. HERP DERP

When you say bolt catch, do you mean one that actually works?

Most are GR-16's, but it's usually just the G&G gearbox. GI makes bodies, and usually throws in a rail system. I guess I stand corrected since the gearbox is the same as his old one.

The only thing with the deepfire is you won't get front rails with it. you will have to swap out the front end with a RIS. That will take the price up a little bit.

ASGI made a deal with G&G, G&G send the gun with ASGI's logo or whatever and GI just adds a rail, sights(sometimes), and minor things that make the different guns unique. GI does not supply the body, its G&G's top grade plastic body.

I am looking at the D-boyz M4 RIS, and I'm liking what I see. My question is: Does the bolt catch work?

@Catch22
I have personally found that AONW has more items for sale on their website, and for better price than the local store. I have gone in there and asked about it a while ago but the only gun they came up with costs almost $400 so...

What the hell are you talking about?

Have you ever actually been in AONW?
