Crossman R76 Pulse stock...

Postby Fatjogger24 » Sun Jul 10, 2011 5:11 pm

Ive had my Crossman R76 for about 4-5 months now; the gun it's self works wonderfully for its price and i'm very pleased, but it came with a MP40 style stock that broke off after about 1&1/2 months and has remained stockless ever since. My friend has a UTG MP5 that came with 2 stocks, he said i can have the full stock to try and figure out how to put on my R76. I've spent acouple hours puzzeled over how i'm supposed to do this, or where to find a full stock that I can put on. If any one knows the awnser to either of these questions, i would be deliyed to here the anwser.
Thanks,

I think this requires massive amounts of JB weld.

Welding hmm?
I was considering that but the stock is plastic. What do you think about that?
I considered massove ammounts off super glue, but I still dont know hiw well that'll hold...

JB weld is an epoxy. Although with the right tools there is such a thing as plastic welding.

Yeah I know, thats sorta why I said super glue... I would consider it but it doesnt fit on very well so it would require some shaving down...

hate to sound like a broken record but maybe its time to upgrade to a better AEG the time and materials it would take to fix it would be a waste... I've been there had a double eagle m82 (cheap sig 552)

Yeah, i'm really considering selling it to buy the CYMA cm028
By the way, how much do you think I would be able to sell it for. It still works perfectly fine.

its crossman ur probably looking at 35$ or less since the stock is broken
probably look at something closer to 200$ although the CYMA CM028 is a really good starter gun from what i've heard

The others don't have any sense because you didn't get the answer you wanted?

We don't know your skills or your tooling that you have available to you, if it was me I would sand down to fit and then build it back up with fiberglass for strength, that's if I wanted to save some bucks. Epoxy would be a great starting place to get it back together, super glue would probability be too thin. Post some pictures so that we can see some of the detail.
