M14: CA vs G&G

Postby kapow887 » Tue Jul 12, 2011 1:25 pm

Does anybody know which is a better gun: Classic Army Match m14 or the new G&G m14? They are about the same price (~$250) and I know the designs are practically identical.

Well I love my G&G M14, very well built and sturdy. Stock can hold a 9.6 large type. but the ROF is 18+ with it. I've had people ask me what i've done to it to make it go so fast but its stock. Only real downside some people might see is my FPS is at a consistent 330 +-3. Most people would probably like a higher fps for such a long weapon.

I have not held a CA M14 so I can not speak for it but I love my G&G M14

G&G, no question. the CA is a decent gun, but i would buy the G&G without a second thought.

I love my G&G M14, but can't speak for the CA.

On a side note for future reference, don't put a 11.1v lipo in it. Just, don't. ;)

I loved my G&G M14, and I'm sorry I traded it. The only con that the G&G has is the mags, which are hard to come by, however the CA uses the same type of mag. Get the G&G, you won't regret it. Agreed on the no 11.1v lipo by the way.

G&G for sure. Plus, isn't the CA proprietary?

It's exactly as proprietary as G&G.

The G&G is a far better AEG.

Well the new version G&Gs, don't get one that is older than 5 years. Original model was a POS.
