one of the guys on my team has one. it has a seal issue, and only shoots 250fps.

its kinda stupid what GG did making it "adjustable FPS" so that you can cheat at the chrono by reducing the setting and then going away from everyone and turning a screw to make it hurt people.

I liked my JLS, but as some of you may have heard some retard took the fuse out of it thinking "that will remove all resistance" when in fact it kept the gun from protecting itself against catching fire. its gotta have something in the wire to prevent taht (mosfet, fuse, whatever).

this thread is a month old but in case the guy is still deciding (and to inform anyone new around here) here are my two cents.

The gun IS chunky HOWEVER after you spend a few minutes with it and get used to it during a game you don't feel the chunkyness anymore, the trigger is like an aug, and unlike the earlier post, mine responds fairly well to semi. it is a great gun and I currently use it along with my tavor (switch between them every round) and i love them both. just remember you have to cut some of the tab off on midcaps to make them fit.

Haha thanks, appreciate it anyway.
It really is a solid chunk of beef, being largely plastic-ish I didn't expect it to be very heavy but I think it's actually heavier than the HK416 it replaced... Fortunately I was able to jerry-rig a sling for it out of an AK-style three-point, and it's exceptionally well balanced compared to other bullpups (*ahem*, L85, *ahem*) so that will help in the long run. Unfortunately I haven't been able to chrono it, but I can say that it shot very straight and pretty consistently right out of the box. I haven't messed with the spring adjustment yet so it remains on the lowest setting, to be honest I'm not sure if it's really even necessary to turn up the tension because it's working so well so far with the .26s that I use.

ya the fps is most likely around 350 like mine was when i first got it. the slings are a problem unless you jury rig one the only other option is the real steel ones which are alot more $$$

I approve ;-D
I have since finally found a wrench small enough to remove the front sight; it takes a 7/32" to remove the little nut that holds it place, if it's bugging you like it did me.
