SAT VVD.. (Variable velocity device)

Discuss.

At $89.00 you get this spiffy polycarb piston and what looks like an alum ph. I think it's great for people who don't like to open the box too often

Its the NPAS for AEGs and a great piece as long as it holds itself up. Since it appears to be a piston/pistonhead combo, i hope that you can transfer the velocity adjusting properties to another piston if the VVD one decides to shatter.

All in all, a great solution for people who dont want to shell out for a gun with a quickswap spring system or swap springs in a regular gearbox.

Exactly.. The quick change spring system gearbox wasn't exactly the greatest thing :roll:

I'm wondering if this causes air buildup inside the GB that would mess things up.

Air buildup..?? It's not like the GB is a vacuum sealed chamber. I'm assuming this is just like porting your cylinder. Sure it may be inefficient but it gets the job done
