King Arm's MAR (Galil)

Postby G36 FTW » Wed Aug 10, 2011 11:50 pm

Does anybody have any experience with these? Its a pretty unique rifle, but I know King Arm's can be kinda dodgy, and I can't find jack online (review wise).

http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info ... s_id=35673

Looking for some hands on experience here, not "King Arm's sucks"

Thanks.

If you want a Galil, get the ICS one. Its built from stronger materials and the thumb selector actually works instead of just being cosmetic ;)

Also, www.airsoftoutletnw.com has the best price on the ICS anywhere.

Yes I own the KA Galil SAR EBB. u can modify AK mags to fit in the gun with no prob. I'm actually saving for a MAR right now! Amazing internals. Shoots 15bps on a 8.4v battery. Good quality metal, only thing is there's NO hebrew on it (it says 223 on it so it's the international version). I'm Israeli so u can trust me :P the blowback on mine is pretty sweet. Galils kick a$$ and look sexy while doing it

Have you ever gotten the chance to compare it to an ICS?

I've compared them, and the ICS is the better model, in my opinion.

While ICS doesn't make the MAR, they do have a few things that put the over the King Arms in my opinion. On the ICS, the fire selector is ambidextrous and fully functional. Additionally, the ICS has a more solid feel on the handguard and tends to be more efficient (higher FPS on any given spring).

The blowback on the King Arms is cool, but the cost on the King Arms is so much higher for a gun that doesn't seem as well built (metal is thinner, lighter) that it's not worth it for me.

the GK99 is the worst Galil replica i've seen. being Israeli, it offends me that G&G would make such a terrible replica of the Galil.

AATV reviews two modern AK variants: The G&G GK99, which is an airsoft version of the finnish Sako RK95
