Clearly, people are scared of little kids having guns and killing people. So instead of taking away the guns, why don't they make sure the CHILDREN DON'T HAVE THE DESIRE TO KILL!?! As one commenter stated, this wouldn't be a problem if there hadn't been any Columbine or other high school shootings. Guns don't kill people, people kill people.

Also, paintball is gay.

I'm willing to bet how this even became an issue.

911: 911 what's your emergency?
Caller: I just want to let you know in case someone calls and freaks out. There is 2 10 year-olds dressed in fatigues and carrying toy guns playing army by the school.
911: Did you say that there are 2 kids with guns at the school?
Caller: Yes and they are toys... as far as I can tell.
911: Thank you mam, we'll send someone by to check on them.

Moments later....

Dispatch: We have reports of 2 kids dressed in camouflage at the school with possible guns. Who is available to take this call?

5 minutes later....

Every cop with in 20 miles is on scene, black helicopters are circling over head and the SWAT team is clearing the school. Media freaks out and every network man with a camera shows up and finds out it was all a bunch of BS. Decide to not waist their time and make a huge issue out of it.

Sounds about right?
