Hey I am Just wondering what your opinions are on the Mag brand Box mag (100rnd nut sack) VS the 200 rnd Green Box Mag? I am wondering what you think the advantages/disadvantages are for you.

I have several of the plastic box mags. Initially I was pretty hosed with the performance as they seemed to always be jamming. The culprit was always a small foreign object. I am now more careful when filling the mags to keep foreign objects ( sticks, rocks and bb bag staples ) out and I am pretty happy with the performance of said magazines. No experience with the nut sack mags , but I have seen plenty of positive reviews of said mags on AP . At least with the CA 249's, the mags were the only weak spot. Have not had any malfunctions in 4-5 games now.

The 100rd style mags are superior to the 200rd plastic style ones, end of story. Unless you REALLY need the extra capacity they're pretty much worse in every way.

the extra capacity is not worth the weight. MAG mags are the way to go.

one thing I will say is... if you're doing "mil-sim" and you have to have absolute perfectness with your impression...
you'd have to get 2 of each anyway to go on your vest into the pouches (a pair of 200 round pouches and a pair of 100 round pouches). If you're comfortable with the 200rnd style, and it suits your needs, then that would be the best thing to use more often.

Well if we're talking mil-sim, a lot of guys issued M249s hate the plastic box with a fashion and use only nutsacks if at all possible, or so I hear.

The kid didn't mention anything about milsim.

I loved my MAG nutsacks. I never had any problem with them, minus them being a pain in the a$$ to fill.
