"Airsoft" in Craigslist posting violates terms of service?

I search the Seattle CL for "Airsoft" on a regular basis. I have no problems seeing almost a full page of results. Granted I haven't had the need to post there since most everything I do post on forum classifieds gets sold.

Maybe each CL is moderated differently?
I do think the fallout of the Kommiefornia legislation is the true driving force behind this because airsoft had been granted a specific exception in 2005 from the "BB Gun" prohibition due to it's "non-lethal" status.

Actually come to think of it, I was selling off a combat machine that someone had given me and it got deleted a WHILE back before all this nonsense.. Yet I can go onto it and see plenty of advertisements for guns and such

He was trying to list an event, which I think might be more misguided, as I would hate to see what kind of players are attracted to a game via a CL posting.

I posted the event here of course the CL posting was just to kind of alert the locals to the existence of our field. But alas, I have to concede. Although, we didn't all start off as the elite Milsim warriors we are today and a lot of people search CL for airsoft gear so having that way of free promotion still makes sense.

We are actually having a meeting tomorrow night to discuss field promotion options.

As for the ad...it was just in the last month this happened. I listed last month with no problems.

Picking up airsofters on Craigslist would probably work as well as picking up sex partners on Craigslist. Sure, you'd find it, but it would be diseased. Why would you list in the first place?

I posted an ad on craigslist looking for a new field for airsoft. Got a couple offers. One was great, but the money needed to get it up and running was problematic.

Craigslist should not allow anything that has age restrictions to be sold on its site, just for legal reasons. And none of you should be selling items without proof of age from the buyer.

if you think its hard to sell airsoft gear now....wait till SB 798 actually passes.

That crap better NOT pass. I don't live in Cali, but it will drastically affect the airsoft market on the West Coast if it goes through.

Someone needs to put Arnie back in office.
