MP5's

Postby DFirE_M » Thu Sep 01, 2011 3:59 pm

I want an MP5 or a varient of it (Besides the MP5k) But I want a good brand, something that will last me a while. And are TM MP5 mags compatible with all other ones? Thanks for the help/feedback.

TMs are known to run forever.
The CA B&T series of MP5s are quite awesome.
Both shoot CQC velocities (which is what most people use MP5s for).
As far as I know all AEG MP5s use the same mags.

99% of MP5s on the market use the TM style magazines. the Classic Army B&T guns are my favorite MP5s by far, although they aren't the cheapest.

I'd be careful if your even thinking about getting a TM MP5. Both of the TM MP5's I've had broke on me within 1000's rounds. The two TM M4's and the G3 I had also crapped out on me. I would stay away from TM compared to all the other options you have.

Gasp! TM's aren't the magical god-like guns everybody says?

If you can find a CA new anymore grab it up, they wont be back anytime soon, otherwise keep an eye out for a used one.

The G&G Sportline is really good, especially for the price. It may be plastic but it's damn tough plastic, and is very reliable and well-built.

If you want metal, go CA, but it's considerably more expensive.

Wow new record for somehow breaking a TM
An Echo1 MP5 is cheap, but it feels and works great (with care)

Opening a TM allows the fairies to escape.

And I would also vouch for a CA, but if you can't find one the G&G metal MP5 I had was also very nice, even though the body was Magnesium (which is still very strong).

I think AONW and EV have spare fairies for sale. A TM will last forever as long as you never open it, like you said. I have a BT5 and its pretty strong
