They do have a musty odor to them.

The one on the right is a new hop unit for my King Arms. Except it's not the one I ordered. Apparently Evike didn't realize that they actually sell 2 different metal hop units for WA M4s, so they just grabbed the nearest one at hand. Once that gets sorted out and I make a trade for a steel bolt, my internal build should be done for now.

That isnt really a military item but a good find nonetheless. The Peltor headset is pretty useless but the PTT looks like it goes to a Motorola and that is some good money there.

Picked up one of the Hazard 4 "Boot Bunker" bags.

Aside from the sheer usefulness of it, it "rounds off" my bailout kit. Next step is to take it to the local sewing shop up the road and get some mounting hardware attached to that it mounts more securely to the pack. And, now that the overall shape of the pack is less scary, I need to head over to REI and pick up a rain cover to de-mil the look of it even further.

Here are front and side pictures of the backpack kit assembled:

And here is a picture of the components disassembled:

The large pack with the rifle is an Eberlestock Gunslinger:

The Hazard 4 Boot Bunker is on the top right.

And the smaller sling bag on the bottom right is the 5.11 RUSH MOAB 10 pack.

As an aside, the 5.11 bag came with their "teir" system, which is basically four straps that clip onto standard MOLLE loops and have a releasable clip in the center of the strap. It's a pretty neat attachment system, and is available seperately from 5.11. They are great for adding straps to the side of a pack with MOLLE loops for carrying jackets and such, or attaching bags together.

Sorry, the pic had nothing to do with the original comment. Just didn't want to head the page without a pic. Could have posted my new (to me) trench coat, but that's not for airsoft.

It looks like it's for a plane, rather than a Motorola.

That protector looks pretty goofy. A killflash would look a million times better and still protect your ACOG.

My reasoning was that if this thing gets shot out, I'll be able to make a new plate for it at almost no cost, plus it comes with one spare plate. If a $30 killflash got a hole in it I'd need to buy a new one.

50 years ago I would've worn a pocket protector.

I've only ever seen pictures, never handled one, so I didn't know how thick/strong/what material that honeycomb was. Is there any you'd recommend in particular for ACOG replicas?
