Splat action

Postby Osprey » Mon Sep 26, 2011 11:47 am

This isn't really off topic I think.

When is the next event at Splat Action going to be, or does AP no longer holds events there?

AFAIK no games have been announced for SA. Last game there was the first Sundown. Which was not too long ago.

Look at the calender for games and their locations. A lot of people in this community are burned out on Splat Action.

Good field, just used a LOT. Have they built new buildings yet? It's been a while since I've been there.

People who complain about the "hills" at SniperzDen have never been to Splat Action. If I never go to another game there I'll be just fine.

Shitty field, shitty hills, shitty paint all over your gear, shitty structures you fall through, shitty bottlenecks that choke up everyone no matter how the game is designed, shitty facilities, shitty proximity to decent post-game food, shitty shitters.

Between Warpaint, SniperZden, R&R, and some of the smaller fields, I'm just fine without SA games, thank you.

I like The SA field. I'd rather play there than warpaint. Been a while since we been there. Hopefully someone will host there sometime soon.

I personally like it compared to warpaint, but then again I've only played 4 OPs there.

I miss that hill. That's about it. It's doesn't have bottlenecks. Worst thing was the paintballers playing the same time as us, and the dangerous structures.

I would be up for hosting there again when his pb business slows down because I've been told he won't let us have the whole field during the premium times unless we share. shazaam that.

I remember my dark days of dabbling in both paintball and airsoft... SA was the place to play in my cheap woodland trousers and fingerless gloves armed with my fierce Spyder Victor.

I'd go to games out there...

Played paintball this past Sunday and I was reminded why I dont like it.
I do hope that after all this discreditable shuffling we may be taken into action. It has a wonderful way of reconciling a man with himself: and with everybody else, sometimes. - 1st Lt. James Dillon

Most of those structures were old 15 years ago.
