Magpul body help

Postby Saviour » Tue Sep 27, 2011 11:58 am

Hey guys, i got a magpul g&p m4, and i was wondering if i could use another upper receiver and slide it into the magpul lower. I'd rather not have to buy a whole other magpul body when i only need the upper receiver. (I'm making it so i can slide off the current m4 upper and be able to slide on a second upper to have a dmr variant)

-Thanks,
Savior

You might run into some cylinder volume issues but other then that I don't see why not

In airsoft, long barrel =/= DMR. A well tuned, accurate, consistent, and reliable AEG will make more of a DMR then slapping a 650mm barrel onto an M4 and calling it a day.

oh trust me i know man, its just as a change in looks. i could virtually drop a different gearbox into for actual performance change. i just like the sr25 idea, where it has two interchangeable upper receivers. Thanks for the info man

To actually answer your question, youll need to find out whats compatible with the upper before you go buying, my suggestion is start with finding a friend with a G&P rifle, and try to silde the upper on.
