Splat action

I'll host there again. I like Splat Action's terrain better than Sniperz Den and Warpaint. Judging by terrain alone, I think it's one of the better fields out there - and that's because of the hills. Warpaint is small and incredibly flat, with a few DMRs in the right place and sniper rifles the field gets even smaller because you can barely mobilize. Sniperz Den is large, it has that going for it, but the orchards aren't very exciting and they make up the majority of the field.

The facilities do suck and they really do need to work on them, but they have added/repaired buildings over the years and I'm sure they will continue to do so. Having to share the field with paintballers no matter how many times they tell us we have the whole field is frustrating. But again, based on the field itself and just the land/terrain, Splat Action is one of my favorites. If they took out every building and just let that place get overgrown it would be incredible.

Mght wanna contact the owner not ask people on here, I know when pf hosted the last game there it was pricey, and the no shows killed us on overhead. The buildings had been repaired to some extenet and at least more than one porta john was on site unlike in the past.

Last I checked they had a $15 field fee for "bring your own gear" people. I imagine if you just paid the $15/head as a team they would send you out to a corner of the field somewhere and let you do your thing.

Thanks, I'll call and ask the owner about it.

I ask Matt because he has more experience with Splat action than I do. Plus under play fields Matt is listed as the host http://airsoftpacific.com/content.php?page=13

You should contact the owner, he used to be open for hosting teams in exchange for work on the field. I am fairly sure John still owns the place. My old PB team used to practice there basically every Sunday during tournament season, and would spend about 1 day a month clearing/improving fields. It is worth a shot at least if you have the free time.
