Tightening the grip on a SAW

Postby Junto » Fri Sep 30, 2011 4:44 pm

The grip on my dad's Echo 1 SAW is wiggly and I need to tighten the nut on the bolt that holds it in place. Problem is, it seems the only way to tighten it is to pull the gearbox and I'd like to avoid touching more than I have to inside the gun. Anyone know a good way to fix it?

At the last Scappoose game (parking lot meet) i helped a guy fix his saw like that. He used my multi tool to reach into it and tighten it. He had to kinda get the bolt at an angle so it wouldn't spin, took some work, but eventually he got it.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty
