phiz wrote:Thanks Rick, fun game and I really liked the dynamic objectives.

Agree about the dynamic objectives but didn't like that the spawn point moved as well without having maps or admin at old spawn to re-spawn us or tell us where the new spawn was. Some military were killed nowhere near the objective so they didn't know where to go to spawn once it was moved.

Having a grid map (even with the basic info provided at beginning) would have helped to orient forces in the field once an objective was found. No force would go into a territory without a grid map even if they had no idea where anything was.

Was an awesome game though. Liked the fast pace and serialized objectives with the time limit. Really put the pressure on to keep the fight moving and forces hunting.

Thanks for hosting a fantastic game Rick. It was awesome. A few shout outs:

Blanket: You so ignorant.
Pacman: I got chocolate pudding in my MRE.
Skunk Ape: Your slip in the mud was the coolest defensive position I've ever seen.
Pablo Escobar: We will capture you again and skunk ape will shoot you in the tool.

Thanks again to Rick, and all of the admins. By the way, any pictures yet?

DAN YOU DAMN TROLL YOU DIDN'T SHOW UP!

Thanks to everyone that showed up and played, Military and FARC and Drug Cartel, it was awesome playing with and against you guys. For the rest that signed up and didn't come (and that was a lot) you missed out, and made the game less awesome for everyone. Shame

Also, shame on the person that decided someone else's gun was a smashing toy. You really need to come forward and apologize for that.

Finally, Pacman...I still have your nametape ;).

Pablo Escobar was freed from Military and returned to the cartel.

The hostage was recovered by FARC and ransom money and demands have heated up since.

The last missile silo was never destroyed and so the military is currently trapped behind enemy lines developing a plan to fight their way out.

So we will continue the storyline when Jungle Express 2 returns next year

Overall I thought the game went well. I had to make many changes due to the massive amount of no-shows and last minute dropouts so that game play was bothered too much. Weather messed with planning a little bit.

Many players need to certainly read and understand the material that is given to them in the private forums because alot of confusion could have been avoided this weekend. Honestly private forums can be very essential to a player to have a much better game experiance that it prepares them beforehand.

Out of bounds issues: covered in the maps.

Need maps: posted in the private forums (then you can grid them and distribute if you want)

What are our objectives: covered in the private forums and commander responsibility to brief you.

Grenade rules: covered in the rulebook and in private forum and main game thread

etc, etc.

So I ask next time there is private forums get involved and take the time to read the source material.

Thank you to the admin that helped run things with me and keep things in check.

Thanks to the commanders and players for coming out and braving the weather at times to play this game.

Hoped you all enjoyed it and thank you for your continued support. Hope to see at the next one soon.

See you all at The Horde in October or Lords of War IV in November (yet to be posted)

Thanks Guys.

Sounds like a FARC/Cartel victory to me :). Great job guys, it was fun

Also, braving what weather? Saturday it never rained on us while we were playing, not even during the night game. Sunday it started to rain at the end, but I think I only felt like one rain drop because it wasn't hard enough to make it through the trees. Anyone that bailed on account of the weather report needs to slap themselves.

Man, that was a great game. My favorite part was sprinting under fire to get c4 to pacman too and from spawn. Wasn't so great that I ended up sitting in nettle after I got it too him.

I feel like if blanket hadn't been so ignorant we might have won though.
