m4 S-system mods?

Postby Stray » Sat Oct 29, 2011 6:36 pm

Has anyone done any mods on a s system? I am wanting to start a contractor loadout or maybe a army as a fall back. but I would want a m203 maybe for a genadier style. Does anyone have a idea in how to get a longer rail for the bottom I tried tossing one that I had on but that odd groove on the bottom just wouldn't lay it sit flush. Also is thee a full metal conversion kit for the ssystem rail style? Also I need a really slight rise on the rail for my eotech to work with my magnifier any ideas

Okay. Do you have the JG?Or the A&K? Or the TM? Or the Aftermath? Or do you have the extremely expensive Hurricane version? First ditch the S-system. Now I understand that everyone has their own individual styles and tastes, but really, spend the dough and buy a nice Madbull DD rail system. I love my MK18 one. There is no metal version. (From what Google tells me!)

BTW, no one in the Army uses the S-system (or if you prefer SIR).

Call the surgeons and tell them to take the day off, because I'll be doing all the operating now.

There's a point where this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it

I modified my Marui s-system with a hack saw and slapped on a barrel mounted m203. It looks B-A, though unless you have a few other aeg's I would recommend against permanent hacksaw modifications. I can post a few pictures if you're interested.

It's a JG m4 and i traded for it. ts full plasic basicly and it was the only trade I got off for my g36 collection and AK. I prefer a standard m4a1 but ill take what I can get at this point to start.playing again. I was just curious if it was possible to get what I needed out of it if I'll toss in the box with the rest and try again

What does that have to do with anything?...

OP, there's a metal body made by "Zeke" for S systems but it's hard to find and expensive. Best bet is to buy a new front set or deal with the limitations.

Never heard of Zeke ill check that out though. Also I think I figured a way to ad longer rails by looking at the top rail. If I can get some of those cylinders like for the top and cut one of my extra rails a bit shorter I think I can get it to work with nuts and washers in the inside of the cage to give extra support should hold anything. I'll have to try I also have to find new sights these are missing. If the Zeke kit is not to bad I.may just get a metal body too.... Or run this as a cqb with a red dot and start over and find another m4
