Pmag for the SR25?

Postby Stray » Sun Nov 20, 2011 3:56 am

I have been curious if these PMAG Sr25 midcap are what they are cracked up to be? I just got a echo1 Sr25 and it needs mags. I don't want to run high cap just personal reasons and midcap selection is well non existant. And I don't know which to go for since both cost the same or Dang close

Those PMAGs or the G&P midcaps are pretty much your only good options.

The 20LR Pmags are great. I had one with my A&K SR-25 and it had 0 issues besides being a bit tight in the magwell.

Are you talking like a little tap on the bottom to get the mag to click into place or is it like the mag won't come out unless you wrench on it?

It won't drop free, but it comes out easily when you pull it. I'm sure if I filed the mag/magwell it wouldn't have been an issue, but it's not like you need to do fast mag changes with something like that.

The PTS PMAG 20LR fit in larger SR-25 magwells. The G&P and A&K and G&G it will fit in, since the well is a little looser than the CA. They won't fit in the CA without filing.
