G&G GR16 Blowback Gearbox

Ok so i was taking my inner barrel out to put electrical around it and noticed my gear box was cracked around the air nozzel were can i buy a replacement gearbox?

Got a pic of the crack? you sure it is cracked not just the seam? And electrical tape on the barrel?

like you follow the seam around and were it seams like it shouldnt be cracked it is ike ill fire a few shots throught it and its leaning forward more and electrical tape to decrease wobble in the outter barrel=more accuracy and no i do not have a pic at the moment

You can use electrical tape around your inner barrel as a barrel spacer.

If it is cracked, give Airsoft Outlet NW a call. They should be able to order the part for you.

How much you think a nex gearbox will cost?

I have a GR16 CQW Rush and if yours is the same as mine I suggest getting a CNC gearbox as opposed to the G&G stock gear box. It will be much stronger and last longer than the pot metal of the stock gear box. Jesse at AONW should be able to tell you if one of the TopTech gearboxes will work in it's place. The TT are all CNC gearboxes.

it should be the same i mean as long as its blowback youd think all i need is the shell i know a guy who can put all my internals in a new gearbox how much did that gear box run ya?

I haven't replaced mine yet because I haven't needed to but when it cracks I intend to upgrade it to a CNC box.

There are several other choices in Oregon besides AONW and both also are G&G stocking dealers. Call around and make sure you are getting the best price (maybe one is more closer to where you live).
