Flight suit tears come from wearing ones that are too small. Find your size and go one size bigger for the leg room. I've worn my OD flight suit more than a few times and it holds up just fine, which is odd considering I've blown the crotch out of so many BDU bottoms.

I have jumped out of helicopters and repelled down buildings while wearing one and never had a problem.

With the Sage Green flight suit, CB APC, nomex balaclava and nomex flight gloves you can pull off a Greek Navy Special Unit look, that's what i do and the real guys do the same thing for boarding ships and hostage rescue.

Helmet?

Pro-tec or a ballistic I'm guessing.

Depends on the mission and team , i have seen them wear both and sometimes no helmet at all.
