Don't start from scratch. Get a gun to start with and improve it. Lots of tutorials online, plenty of threads here about it.

First off, you need to know the 3 basics.

1. AEGs are not all alike, there are several different types that have different gearboxes and hop-ups.

2. If it is in your gun, there is a replacement or upgrade for it. You can change every part of your gun, even down to the gearbox shell screws, or the AR latch. The possibilities are ENDLESS!

3. This is going to be EXPENSIVE. I'm not talking about $300 expensive, I'm talking about $1000 expensive. If you want your own custom gun that performs like a Greek god f**ked a laser beam, you will need to put down some serious cash.

Now that that's all said and done, youtube is a great way to learn about disassembling gearboxes and such. Just go type in something like "JG V3 gearbox guide" and you should get some good results.

I'll leave the research up to you.. But if it's really needed, I can post all my knowledge of internals and go more in detail.

What you should do, is buy an AEG new, and then install internal and/or external Upgrades that meet the criteria of your "Preferences". Start with a cheap a$$ AEG, and fill it with custom upgrades. There are a LOT of things you can do with your gun, but not everything is cheap, aye?
What you should also do, is NOT take advise from dum-bass 15 year olds like myself.

As much as I agree with the choice of the Femme Fatal, the whole point of buying the combat machine without the RIS would be so he could feel special and put an aftermarket RIS on it. That way he wouldn't break anything and still get to do some "custom" work.

My primary is built from spare AK and FAL parts, a steel pipe, sheet metal, tape and the broken dreams of orphans.

I stillhave my very first Airsoft gun, It started life as a TM SR16.

There is so much aftermarket parts that I think ONLY the orignal stock and barrel nut are there.

All Systema upgrade parts BTW, Even the body is Systema. I havent opened it since Grid 18 and it still runs like the day I finished building it. Well the FPS has dropped about 20 FPS but hey.
