Airsoft version of this vest?

Postby MarksInnerDemon » Sun Feb 05, 2012 1:59 pm

http://www.flyyeindustries.com/ArticleShow.asp?ProdID=0327 Has anyone come across a similar version of this vest? I have a teammate here whos looking for one of these, and frankly I don't know if this has a specific style name or if anyone makes a affordable knock off airsoft version. Any links, or good guess where to look would be helpful, I am hitting a wall since my search-fu is weak.

Ahhh ok they said contact for quotes, and I figured it was going to be freaking expensive, and yes I hate the way it looks, but he apparently watched to much transformers. You can lead a horse to water, but some people just want to drink kool-aide thanks.

They have a version of that vest at Airsplat.com for about $40 in multiple colors. I had one that got passed down to me from KA-BAR and it wasn't too bad in terms of quality.

HOLRY SHEET BATMAN!

They want HOW MUCH FOR MULTICAM??

Yeesh, that's almost worse than an actual CIRAS.

Call the surgeons and tell them to take the day off, because I'll be doing all the operating now.

There's a point where this needs to stop, and we've clearly passed it

I note.

Unless you mean the kit ones with the deltoid, crotch and pouches.

How did it run for you? Anything annoy the hell out of you etc? I would think those rubber shoulder pads would drive absolutely nuts, but I hate not having only cloth between me and a rifle usually.

The reason I ask is because I am a supreme miniamlist as I buy stuff that carries my real weapons, and do a load out switch to test things on the field, and scratch it up a little. The individual looking into this has probably never, or rarely fired a real weapon. Think of these people I am dealing with as extremely mature 13-14 yearolds who have watched every action movie ever produced.... fifty times.

Any negative comments from you on a item helps me explain to them (beyond me being a old crumudgen on the subject) as to why a item may not suit them, but if the product is great I would like to know so I can say hey someone else liked it so you probably aren't wasteing my time and your money. Kuwait has some screwed up laws on any webgear and they can't ship it in but I can......

Who ever wrote up these anti crazy muslim jihadist policies inthis country really did a number on having any kind of cool guy gear without written permission from the Ministry of Interior. I'll have to explain this later and it might give you guys insight in why you have never seen a insurgency force ever really field anything remotely like camoflauge uniforms except in afghanistan.
