I have that set, but got them from a guy in texas on ebay.

I don't know if you can get a similar pair in the real stuff or not. Not exactly like those anyways. You could probably get a pair of the regular stuff and send it to Unconventional to mod, but your not spending less than $70.

BDU stands for Battle Dress Uniform and is the cut of the fabric. It has four pockets on the chest and uses buttons.

ACU stands for Army Combat Uniform, and is the newer style cut of uniform. It has features such as zippers, velcro, arm pockets, and a crotchal region that will blow out at any time.

Also, Crye is the company that makes Multicam, and they license the use of their official multicam to multiple sources. It is the same material as used by Crye, with another manufacturer.

Then there is Asia...

Do you like your set that you got?

After seeing the unconventional stuff, it's pretty damn good. My only gripe, agreeing with Android in person on the subject, would be the "sticky" kneepads, which will stop you on a dime on a solid surface (i.e. floors, concrete, wood, stone, etc).

I don't think the Unconventional ones are authentic Crye pads, they look like they will retain the sticky to me, but we shall see. I'm still a fan of the neoprene pad pocket on MCCUU's.

The Chinese set i got is okay for what i need. The combat shirt is really good, fits well, and i think the material is really good.

The pants, are good and bad. They are waterproof up to about the shins, which i love. They zipper all the way up to your waste.

The bad is they aren't sewn the best, some pulls have come off. The front "mag" pockets will rack your nuts if you have a mag in there while you squat down. The knee pads are set on the inside of your knee.

The pads are good quality tho. And everything else can be fixed if you know how to work a sewing machine.

Also, if your a bigger guy and don't have a flat asian a$$. Expect them to be tight in your hips and butt.

Overall i give them a 7 of 10. The shirt a 10 of 10. I wear them when it's really wet out and have yet to get soaked like i do in my regular woodies. Also the camo pattern is real close to the real stuff. I have a boonie cap, and although it's a smaller sample to compare to, it seems to match close enough. If i were a true gear whore i wouldn't get these, but since i'm an airsoft player, they work good enough, and for $89 shipped from the guy in texas on ebay, they were the right price.
