Hello Thinking about joining the hobby

Hello everyone,

First off nice site! Great layout and professionally done.
A little about me, I'm a total noob. No experiance, no airsoft weapons and no paintball experience. With that being said, I've watched tons of videos on the sport/hobby and it looks fun and H E double hockey sticks.
My question is, is there anybody in the area that would be willing to sit down over a beer or something to chat about airsoft? maybe have me come out to a practice/event and show me around and talk to me about equipment and what it would take to get into?

I'd suggest hitting up the next free skirmish that is listed under Pacific Northwest Events/Games. That's the easiest way to come check out a bunch of the guns and see how things work. There's usually a couple of them per month.

People often have a spare gun they'll lend out at a game. If you're down for a teetotaler, I'd be happy to talk with you sometime about the sport and the various equipments. I'm not as deeply and thoroughly educated the some of our fellows as to the specifics or each individual plate carrier/manufacturer, etc., but I love the game and I read a lot.
