Battery for MP5A5?

Postby victor.hernandez » Tue Jun 19, 2012 6:54 pm

I am buying a ICS MP5A5, and it comes with no battery or charger. I already have a smart charger that I use for my other AEG (CYMA CM.028 AK47).
I heard that the handguard is not that large, so it cannot accommodate a larger battery. Would a 9.6v 1500mAh be good? 1600mAh? 8.4v? What's most recommended for CQB MP5?

Here is the MP5:

Would you look at that. Within 15 seconds of reading the link to the gun, I saw that it reccomends an 8.4 v. 1600mah mini battery. It's amazing that the act of reading can give you the information that you want.

To heck with guides. Did you watch the instruction video you posted? You don't even have to READ to see and hear that the battery he's using is the standard 1600mAh 8.4v battery. I'll even do you one better- you can use 9.6v batteries of the same size and capacity in it.

Hurry. Oooh and aaah.

More like Star Wars.

"The Force is strong with him"?

Except off. I felt like it sounded familiar, along the lines of "The Force is strong within this one"

Anyways, there was nothing to do with arrows and knees, my young padawan. I haven't played Skyrim yet anyways.

This thread is derailed.

You really set yourself up for that one. Now that we got that out of the way? How does it perform? I also was looking at get this SMG and wanted to know how it is before I go spend money on it. What mags does it take? Lastly what battery did you end up putting in it?

any shots fired from the gun is going to start wearing and damaging your gun so your question is contradicting them selves; better performance means the quicker the gun will break down, this is common sense. why don't you just run the suggested battery instead of trying to up the performances of your gun with no knowledge of what can happen; stop being a chairsofter and test some of these question on your own, its as easy as going to the nearest hobby store and putting the battery in yourself
