New in Hillsboro

Hey, my name is Adam and I moved to hillsboro a few years ago with my wife. I am a Navy vet and am pretty much retired at this point. I have been following airsoft since around 2004 and purchased my first replicas a few years ago. I am hoping to get into the field now and I am really stoked to be able to be a part of this community. I remember coming across this site years ago and wishing I had something like that in my area. I look forward to learning a lot form all of you and hope to see you all on the battlefield someday!

Well, don't you worry about finding things to do in your area. While not necessarily in Hillsboro, there are plenty of events held relatively close (in Portland, little out towards Salem, etc). You're in good hands, don't you fret!

And I too, hope to see you at a game or two.
I'd tell you to be careful. It's not the Tank you need to fear.

There are actually quite a few Navy guys on the forums here. They just hide because they fear they'll get made fun of for not being SEAL commandos.

I followed much the same path you have - joined fun time navy on a bet, got out of navy, moved to Hillsboro a few years ago so I could airsoft. Wierd, except I won't be retired for another forty years :( Welcome to AP :)
