g36c conversion to lipo

Postby camo11 » Tue Oct 09, 2012 4:22 pm

hey guys i am looking to convert my g36c to lipo batteries, below is a link to the gun and some specs on it. i have a few lipo 2s 7.4v batteries that i am wondering if they will work. would i have to mod the gun at all or what? any advise will help,
also would the discharge rate on the batteries affect the gun?

7.4's wont hurt your gun at all. More when your into 11.1v lipo's.

As far as discharge rate, that may affect your motor more than anything else. But i don't think your going to have an issue. I had a 5k mah 7.4v with a 40c discharge and had no issues.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

From what I understand, your discharge rate is a potential. The size of your pipe, if you will. How far you open the hole is up to you.

My guess is your trigger contacts will fail pretty quickly. Without a mosfet you're going to get some pretty awesome arcing in there.
