KJW Glock 23 Magazine issues

Postby DutchElvis » Thu Jul 11, 2013 4:56 pm

I have a KJW G23. One of the magazines does not cycle properly, and I can't seem to find any leaks or other issues. It will cycle intermittently when the gun is fired upside down. Anyone have any idea what the cause is? Can't seem to find much about this issue online.

Full of gas?

Is your gas bottle full? Or are you using an old worn out one?

Get a new bottle, then never fire your GBB upside-down again! But definitely try a new can. If not, you could have a weak hammer spring.

Could it be a weak hammer spring? My other two mags function fine. I'll try a new propane can.

Tried a fresh can of propane. No dice.

The rubber on top might be too big. Is this a new problem with this mag or has it always been like that?

also check the valve on the offending magazine for free movement. make sure it is not sticking also make sure there is nothing obstructing it. the feed lips are pretty easy to remove so that you can get a good view without having to remove the valve. if all looks good lube with a good silicone oil like shock oil from your local rc car shop. a 15-20w should work just fine for lubing the entire gun.
