Possibly the best event I have attended for the past 8 months. Rick, you did a fabulous job with everything, it was a blast attending another one of your games. CBeran, pleasure running with you as always, I guess my magnifier has uses after all, hehehe. Otherwise, I'm tired, wet, hot as hell and smell like shit, all good signs of a fabulous Op!

Thanks Rick and all the Admins!

Great game everyone. Couldn't have had more fun if there was a barrel of dead hookers (though it never hurts to have em...)

Oh man where to start?
1. Great game Rick! It was really a blast. Well worth the fee of admission.
2. Just a shout out to all the admins, you guys helped facilitate a good, smooth gameplay.
3. Cape, you did an excellent job keeping the National Guard forces organized and motivated. I would gladly serve under your command at future events. Keep up the good work!
4. To all of echo company, you guys did a great job today. We went after all of our objectives relentlessly and even when we couldn't get it done, we still gave it our best. Thats all I could ask for. Octose and Sledge, great running with you as always. Definitely looking forward to the next game!

That was the most fun i've had in my life. I am definitely going to another op with you guys.
Congrats survivors for protecting the precious porta-potties, and good job to the NG and infected for making it hard and fun.

Great game everyone, couldn't have asked for a better event.

Admin,
Thanks for the setup and smooth trans to and from game play. Not the cluster I was expecting. Was a nice surprise. Oh and thanks for all the free swag, the drawings and of course lunch.

Infected,
Great job keeping the pressure on both the NG and the survivors. Added a great twist to an already fun game. Hats off to Jester and his stick! Kept our guys in the orchard pinned down sending many back to spawn. Kick a$$!

Survivors,
You guys were friggin everywhere which constantly had me checking my six.
Actually lit up a few of my own........just in case.

NG,
Thanks to all the team leaders for fighting hard and keeping your men on task. It worked very well and you are great leaders.
TO the rest of you NG bastards...., KICK a$$!! you all worked your asses off and kept the pressure on em. Would gladly fight aside you all again!

And the N.G.was always in the mix and never let us relax! all the makings of a great game and a really good time! i never had to run and dodge so much and never had as much fun! thanks Rick! 8)

Alright, now that I'm clean and fed, let me say good game. I didn't really have much hope for this coming in as uneven as the teams were. Before the game, the infected even did a poll: how cares about winning? 1 person raised their hand. We agreed that the best course of action would be to just prevent the other teams from winning. In the course of this action, we actually won... go figure. I had a great time running around by myself, harassing the other teams, setting ambushes, finding an objective all by my lonesome, and setting an ambush for a bunch of red players*. I had fun running through the village with my bolt action, and holding off the players in the orchard from advancing on our spawn. All in all, today was a pretty good day.

*Just a word of advice, if someone calls out RED, you should clarify as to whether that person is on red or not... instead of just assuming they are friendly. I never claimed to be RED, I just said the word with an interrogative tone to figure out what team I was shooting at to report to my CO. False sense of security leads to crazy ambushes.

Something I want to say:

I saw people on all sides who were calling hits for other people. This was addressed during the lunchtime briefing, yet I saw it even more during the second half. I was accused no less than 6 times for not calling my hits. I have no reason to NOT call my hits. No one does. 99.9% of the time, if you think you are hitting them, and they aren't calling it, then you aren't really hitting them. You might be hitting 10 feet in front of them, or zinging them right past their ear, but you aren't hitting them. If you are hitting them (and it is blatantly obvious like the 5 people I shot center mass from less then 20 feet with my sidearm today), and they aren't calling their hits, you have 2 options: shoot them till they call it, or find an admin. Telling someone to "bleeding TAKE YOUR HIT!" goes against the code of honor that we all try to follow during the course of an airsoft game. If I am hit, I will call it. If I am not hit, I will not call it. Please learn to see better, aim better, or be sneakier. I never once had to question if someone I shot was hit. They new it ever single time. By engaging at closer then your maximum range and using your sights, your percentages of actually hitting your target increase dramatically.[/rant]

Also, I would like to push for a 16+ age limit on games from now on. The can be a provision for sponsored persons under 16, but most of the issues I saw today came from the under 16 crowd. But this is a conversation for another time.

I think to some degree this is correct. Because there were a few kids on other teams not calling there hits. Otherwise, a few, selected few of us actually decide to call our hits.
