so i was looking through the Barrel length list and i couldn't find any thing longer than 631 mm. I need one that is 700mm long, could anyone point me in the direction of where i could get one that long, or if someone in the community makes customs that would be helpful.

Why in the world do you want something that long? 1st off it reduces performance, and 2nd, it's going to be a pain to maneuver. 590 was pushing it for a standard V2/V3 cylinder when I had one in my G36 and M14. 640 is about the max you can go with a bore-up or extended cylinder.

Blizzard, We originally developed the 700mm for the SVD. Infact when we did our first upgrade to one, man are they amazing internally, we installed an M150 spring and the barrel and were pushing 597fps. One of the guys here in Spokane has one in a KWA S12 with a bore-up kit and a M130 spring and is shooting about 525. It's just simple mathematics between cylinder volume to barrel length. So you don't lose performance if you build your gun correctly. And as far as it's too hard to move around, thats a matter of opinion. Some people feel an M16 is too big, but people still use them. And SVD stock barrel is 690mm and there is a good 2 inches to the end of the outer barrel/flash hider after that, but they are one of the hottest guns on the market.

When it comes to barrel cylinder equation, you would be right, until you start changing the actual inner diameter of either barrel or cylinder, which then changes your equation. By dropping from the normal inner barrel diameter (depending on manufacturer of the gun, it can be anywhere from 6.05mm-6.18mm, in the various models I have measured over the years) down to something like a 6.01mm or even a 6.00mm, you can actually increase your barrel length for optimum performance. If you combine this with a cylinder that does not have an air inlet, or use a bore up cylinder set, you can actually increase things significantly, but it all boils down to actually sitting down and doing the math on the project you are working on.

Could you give me an example as to the performance of the guns with 640+ barrels? I'm talking numbers, not "It shot really far" replies. Do you have measurements taken from an AEG shooting 400fps (.2's) with said barrels?

It might not help very much, But I'v seen these barrels in action and I will tell you they are extreamly accurate. I dont own one my self but here in spokane there are alot of people that have these barrels, and i'v shot quite a few guns with them installed in them. There pretty sweet man

There even one of a few companys that make a barrel for a kwa that allows you to install a different hop up bucking on the barrel and not have any problems getting it in the hopup unit when you put it together. which is pretty sweet too if you own a kwa
